I can't seem to make a good loopback plug. I've tried four so far and none worked on a Cisco 1941 router switch or Gig ports, Dell laptop, Cisco small business switch ports, or Brocade switch ports. Edit: I also called TAC and got in touch with a technician who did not understand the term loopback, so I gave him a quick lesson over the phone and then gave up and closed the ticket.
